Members, Patrons and donors play a major part in enabling the Whitechapel Gallery to continue its unparalleled history of firsts.

Over the past 100 years the Whitechapel has been the first UK public gallery to present major exhibitions of an astonishing number of modern and contemporary masters, including Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Frida Kahlo, Gilbert & George, David Hockney, Lucien Freud, Sophie Calle, Gillian Wearing and Sarah Lucas.

As a supporter of the Whitechapel at any level you will help us to champion the great artists of tomorrow and to define the history of art across the 20th and 21st centuries.  The support of our Members, Patrons and donors also ensures that the Whitechapel Gallery remains free and accessible to visitors of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
